SAP System Analyst

Pinnacle Polymers, LLC, a privately owned polypropylene manufacturing facility located between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, is seeking a qualified candidate for an SAP System Analyst position.


The primary function of this resource is SAP master data administration for the site. This is a full-time salaried exempt level position.

  • Implementing SAP Master Data of all vendors, customers, products, parts, materials, etc.
  • Administrator of SAP Master Data
  • Maintaining SAP Master Data B.I.G. Master Data team
  • SAP Key User
  • Business Systems’ Trainer (Navision/SAP, LIMS, @Plant Manager)
  • Developing and maintaining business process flows and flow charts
  • Developing, maintaining and reporting of industry data
  • Assisting the Business System Manager in daily administration of the Navision business system (transitioning to SAP)
  • Partnering with management on reporting
  • Determining special needs reporting and data analysis
  • Assisting in creating checklists for standard operating procedures
  • Assisting and serving as back up for facilitating month-end processes which include (closing of sales, production and inventory)
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or other related field; equivalent work experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree will be considered.
  • Minimum of 1 year of business and/or SAP implementation experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of systems and database administration, knowledge of Navision Business System with knowledge of SAP and SAP processes.
  • Must be willing and able to safely, effectively and efficiently carry out written and verbal job-related instructions, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
